The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department demolished the five old cremators at Wo Hop Shek Crematorium which were approaching the end of their serviceable life and construct in-situ a new crematorium in the same site in this Project. ANewR was appointed as the Independent Environmental Checker for the construction phase of the Project. ANewR Consulting has been commissioned to undertake regular environmental site audits, and review and verification of EM&A reports and relevant submission under Environmental Permit.
