ANewR is the term contractor of MTR Corporation for providing noise measurement services for passenger trains in MTR Network. We carried out regular measurements for 8 existing railway lines and ad hoc measurements for 2 railway lines including Kwun Tong Extension Line (KTE) and South Island Line (SIL). During the measurements, tachometer is required to be installed at the train wheel to obtain train speed synchronizsed with measured noise level inside the passenger train.
